001 i'm pretty sure you all know i have a little obsession with cath kidston so i thought i would share my absolute key pieces i use day in day out. i literally adore everything about it, from prints to the actual item everything is pretty and practical. it was so hard to limit down my favourites especially when there are so many pretty mirrors, tea cups and purses i have to share as well. a part of me is so excited to move out so i can buy all the delightful cushions, bedspreads, towels and duvets i like! and make student life that little bit prettier with the help of such adorable prints.
002 i bought my first cath kidston bag in 2007, it was love at first site and from that purchase onwards i became an avid cath kidston shopper. i've become known at the 'lush lady' at my local shop by the lovely girls that work there (because i work at lush and always smell like it!) and they are always so kind! i'm forever awaiting the next seasons pretties to be bought and dreaming of all sorts of floral adorned trinkets to enter my life as soon as possible. i have to say ck never disappoint! this new strawberry fields print has me running circles its so adorable!
003 i've just been looking for my local cath kidston when i move to epsom and it's not looking good i have to say... mail order here i come! i shall definitely have to write the girls at my current local store a thank-you letter for supplying me with such a sanctuary. however, now i've found amara i'll be able to decorate my little uni room just perfectly, eee! i'm so excited!

your ck items are so pretty! I live near Epsom and the Kingston store is small and quite cute. They have a range at the Bentalls Centre in Kingston also in Bentalls which is worth looking out for also. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm not a massive fan of Cath Kidston usually but I do have a fair few pieces. I have the dinosaur satchel, a ticket holder and a couple of their skirts, including the one that matches your school bag. I really love their skirts!

Beautiful photos Lily and I totally understand the obsession! I have an umbrella (which I don't actually use, sigh, because it's a big un') a wallet, coin purse and tote bag that I take to uni (may have to update this to a handbag of sorts - bloody love your rucksack, however, not sure I could pull it off!) Lovely post as well. It's hard for me to believe you are still only 17! Gosh, we are 10 years apart!
ReplyDeleteAlso, love Lush (who doesn't?!) and it's fab you work there :D

ReplyDeleteOoh are you going to UCA in Epsom? I did the Fashion Journalism degree there and did not enjoy the experience but I know lots of people that loved the course and area! Theres actually a really good Cath Kidston shop in Kingston (you can get 2 different buses there from Epsom) and a Lush shop so you could transfer :) xxx

I fell in love with Cat Kidston's stuff when I was in the UK so I'm totally envious of your collection. I'd really love the travelling case as mine is too narrow so it's a big pain to get things in and out. Thanks for sharing!
