'an ode to saint valentine'

001 i spent saint valentines eve watching picnic at hanging rock. for those who have not seen it, it is the most incredible tale of an australian boarding school field trip in which a few of the girls mysteriously disappear at hanging rock on 14th of february 1900. i definitely recommend any film lovers watch it is its soundtrack and filming is utter perfection, and a good twist on valentines day!

 002 i picked this lovely dress by an anonymous blogger as a part of the marks and spencers valentines challenge. for this we got given a blogger and we had to select a dress for them which suited their style and figure. this was a lot of fun yet, also kind of scary because i so did not want to get it wrong! i absolutely adore my dress and it is perfect for my plans that consist of a reflexology appointment and relaxing. it is the right amount of prettiness yet also practicality for perhaps a little spot of shopping.. *spending ban is going swell mum*. after a number of snow, rain and slush flurries my sister and i braved it and took these pictures, albeit for 3 minutes i genuinely thought i was about to freeze to death, summer hurry up!

 003 i recently ventured on to youtube, although my initial welcome was not particularly warm, i'm considering making it a weekly sort of thing perhaps? a couple of people have been absolute gems so i would love to carry on, but it is up to you, please let me know!

 004 and lastly, i got a place at my dream university, uca, studying fashion promotion and imaging. i am so completely over the moon and plenty of tears were shed after being 100% sure i had not gotten in. eee, i'm so excited, let the university shopping commence! i've already bought a lot of things to keep me organised so i cannot wait to show you them because they are adorable!
