001 hello lovelies, today i have a mixture between a happy and sad post. my lovely neighbour, alex, of ten years(!) moved to falmouth to study illustration a couple of days ago. although i am currently skyping her right now, it'll be so strange not popping off every ten minutes to see her. we have plans for little getaway weeks already in the making and i cannot wait to be reunited with her.
002 anyway, this post wasn't meant to be a sob story or pity party! our mums worked together to create a little tea party and here is some of the food from it, alex's post shows it a lot better, complete with our little pinky in her (and ralphie's) basket.. i was too busy eating all the food and instagramming it all (lilyfmason if you'd like to follow me).
lots of love, sugar mice and candy floss, lily

That tea party looks beautiful and I love your socks and heels combo. It can be sad when a friend moves away but that doesn't mean the end of a friendship - sometimes it makes the friendship even stronger. xx
ReplyDeleteEndometriosis my life with you
This party looks bloody adorable, as do both of you ladies! Man, people leaving is so bittersweet - it's lovely to see people venturing off into something new and exciting but awful missing them! Best of luck to Alex, and I hope you're feeling ok!

ReplyDeleteThis looks like a totally adorable tea party! If, by any chance, Alex's mama wanted to share her meringue recipe, do you think you would be willing to pass it along? We would love to test it out over here at GirlsEnVille. Thanks!
